Description

Acquired brain injury outcomes depend on lesion location, size, and severity. Gait is the highest level of function that individuals want to achieve post injury. This course will use the platform of stroke rehabilitation to address gait analysis and treatment in the hospital setting and provide a framework of care that can be used in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. Furthermore, participants will be given a list of factors to consider when creating long term plans for community-based activities to maintain and enhance gait outcomes for safe functional mobility to participate in life roles.

*Courses may be rescheduled/cancelled due to low registration.*
