Critical Care staff nurses and/or Progress Critical Care nurses preparing to take the Adult CCRN or PCCN Certification Exam
The goal of this program is to provide nurses and other interested healthcare professionals with the based knowledge and tools to assist them in providing high quality and comprehensive care related to Critical Care management.
This 2-day course combines central knowledge based lectures designed according to the AACN exam blueprints for CCRN and PCCN certification exams. By attending this course, the care provider will obtain an essential review of nursing care and interventions designed for both the ICU and progressive care areas.
This review is not an introduction to the environment of the ICU or PCU, but a comprehensive update for the professional already in practice at the bedside and preparing for the CCRN/PCCN certification examination. Professional Caring and Ethical practice (20% of exam) issues are addressed when appropriate throughout the educational activity.
