The discipline of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine spans virtually the entire spectrum of human disease, making it difficult for technologist and pathologists to keep up with developments in the field. We bring the combined expertise of North Carolina’s four academic Pathology and Laboratory Medicine departments to present a curated and targeted event to practicing pathologists, medical laboratory scientists, histotechnologists, pathology assistants, and trainees.
Formats include traditional lectures by expert faculty, audience participation, and panel discussions. We have designed an engaging multi-track curriculum with simultaneous sessions on topics addressing knowledge and/or practice gaps as well as emerging trends in the field. Attendees can design their own experience. We will meet the educational needs of our audience and stimulate interactions and collaboration that extends beyond this event.
