Designed to address the challenges of staying abreast in this diverse field, our program caters to pathologists, pathologists' assistants, trainees, and medical laboratory professionals at all levels of practice.
With a blend of traditional lectures by esteemed faculty, interactive audience participation, and insightful panel discussions, our event will offer a rich learning experience. We will be accepting abstracts for a planned poster session for Imagine 2024. Submissions deadline extended to Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 11:59 PM / midnight EST. Authors will be notified of acceptance and details of poster format by October 21, 2024.

Objectives
- Describe two practice-changing developments in a subspecialty of anatomic or clinical pathology relevant to the participant.
- List at least three new technology advances relevant to medical laboratory professionals.
- Discuss the meaning of FDA enforcement discretion on laboratory developed test and how the end of this practice might affect the clinical laboratory.
- Identify two important workforce issues that are affecting clinical laboratory staffing and list strategies to mitigate against them.
- Discuss how labs can drive value in a value based care environment to improve health care quality, health care access, and/or to advance health equity (eg. by engaging in population health, value based care contracting and research, lab test utilization, clinical decision support, whole health measures, improved patient reporting, etc.)
