    Objectives

    • Describe two practice-changing developments in a subspecialty of anatomic or clinical pathology relevant to the participant.
    • List at least three new technology advances relevant to medical laboratory professionals.
    • Discuss the meaning of FDA enforcement discretion on laboratory developed test and how the end of this practice might affect the clinical laboratory.
    • Identify two important workforce issues that are affecting clinical laboratory staffing and list strategies to mitigate against them.
