- Recognize the emerging role of SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP-1 receptor agonists cardiometabolic health (Tungate)
- Examine the evidence behind use of non-steroidal mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists (Tungate)
- Identify new targets for lipid management (Tungate)
- Recognize the use of janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors in the management of myelofibrosis
- Discuss updates in the management of myelodysplastic syndrome
- Identify the use of bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) therapies and strategies for managing notable toxicities
- Describe the complement cascade and novel therapeutic approaches to managing aberrancies of this process
- Review recent guideline updates in hemophilia and cancer-related hematologic supportive care
- Apply best practices and new therapeutics to classical and malignant hematologic conditions
- Describe key recommendations and recent updates in national guidelines regarding the care of persons with heart failure.
- Select an individualized therapy plan, including lifestyle modifications and pharmacotherapy for a person with heart failure.
- Identify appropriate initiation and monitoring with SGLT-2 inhibitors in persons with HFrEF.
- Discuss social determinants of health and their impact on the management of heart failure.
- Explain the mechanism of action for available oral emergency contraception (EC) products as supported by current research.
- Interpret the evidence available regarding EC efficacy, including for special populations.
- Explain the legal regulations surrounding patient purchase of oral EC.
- Recognize new diagnostic nomenclature related to the management of heart failure.
- Summarize new therapies for the management of heart failure.
- Review new indications for existing heart failure therapies.
- Describe an evidence-based approach to chronic asthma management.
- Discuss considerations for rescue therapy for acute asthma symptoms.
- Describe an evidence-based approach to chronic asthma management.
