This event is being jointly provided by South Piedmont AHEC, Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute and the Emergency Medicine Service Line.

We are excited to have you join us for the 15th Annual Dr. J. Lee Garvey, Jr. Chest Pain Network Summit. This year, participants will learn more about innovative approaches aimed at improving patient outcomes, enhancing clinical decision-making, and strengthening our collective response to treating patients with chest pain. Our focus will be on effective strategies to elevate patient safety, optimize care protocols, and protect the health and well-being of those we serve.   • McCarthy: Discuss the history and epidemiology of coronary vasomotor disorders.
  • McCarthy: Explain the anatomy/physiology of coronary vasomotor disorders.
  • McCarthy: List the types of coronary vasomotor disorders.
  • McCarthy: Explain modern day testing and treatment of vasomotor disorders.
  • Meyers: Discuss the limitations and challenges of the current ACS pathway using human interpretation of ECGs and the existing STEMI pathway.
  • Meyers: Discuss the current efforts being made to create AI to address these challenges of the current ACS pathway using human interpretation.
  • Meyers: Explore the critical ECG patterns of high-risk ACS patients with the help of AI from real life cases in which AI was used.
