Description

Social workers are an indispensable part of Atrium Health and the healthcare team, standing on the community front lines to support children, families, and individuals in overcoming life's challenges. They drive change and contribute to creating a more equitable society. March is dedicated to raising awareness and highlighting the crucial role of social workers as our community continues to grow and face numerous challenges.

This symposium offers social workers within the Southeast Region of Atrium Health a unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge, values, and skills for competent practice in medical settings. It will recognize the vital contributions of social workers in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Additionally, the symposium will promote work-life integration and more, ensuring that social workers are well-equipped to advance health equity and improve outcomes for all.
