Target Audience
This conference is designed for internists, family physicians, generalists, advanced practice providers and other health care providers working in an adult primary care setting.
Description
Registration for this course will close on Thursday, March 7th at noon to allow time to prepare registration roster sheets, conference links and other details. We will re-open for on-site registration on Wednesday, 3/13 at 7am.
This meeting will update attendees on the recent developments in health promotion and disease management for conditions commonly encountered in primary care, including:
Point of care ultrasound to improve management of common conditions
Vaccines for respiratory infections
Management of Helicobacter pylori
Obstructive sleep apnea
Osteoporosis
Gender-affirming care

In-person location: The William and Ida Friday Center, 100 Friday Center Drive, Chapel Hill, NC
The conference offers a hybrid format with a choice of in-person or webinar.
Registration Options
This year, participants have the flexibility to switch between attending in-person and webinar sessions. PLEASE NOTE this option to switch is applicable ONLY for those who choose the "in-person" registration fee.
Registration fees:
Full Conference - $500** (in-person) / $450 (webinar)
2-Day Thursday and Friday - $325** (in-person) / $300 (webinar)
Single Day - $150 (Option to switch format is not available)
** Attendee may switch between in-person/webinar but must pay in-person fee.

Objectives
- Discuss vaccine recommendations to prevention respiratory infections in high risk patients and the
general population.
- Review the evidence in support of treating the common problem of chronic constipation including the
use of new, more specific medications for constipation.
- Discuss optimal approaches to treating iron deficiency anemia including oral and parenteral regimens
of iron replacement.
- Present an evidence-informed approach to treating resistant depression in the geriatric population.
