As our population ages, we must address improving the healthcare of the older adult in all care settings. The 4Ms Framework provides an interprofessional foundation for age-friendly care that is evidenced-based, causes no harm, and aligns with what matters to the older adult, their families and caregivers. In this virtual series, we will examine the elements of high-quality care for the older adult using the 4Ms Framework which considers and focuses on what matters to the older population and addresses medications, mentation, and mobility. Healthcare professionals will gain knowledge of the framework and apply evidence-based practices to person-centered, age-friendly care of the older adult through interactive case scenarios.
