Effective communication through interpreters is crucial for supporting individuals in their primary language. This training will cover essential components to ensure clear and supportive conversations. We will explore various interpreting settings, including hospitals, courts, and in-home situations. Additionally, we will address dynamics that may influence interpretation, such as virtual sessions, interactions involving young children, mental health considerations, and cultural factors.
